An Urban Agriculture Bus Tour in Pittsburgh is offered on June 28th from 7 AM -6:30 PM. Tour the “Greenest Building in the World” at Phipps Conservancy, stroll the rooftop garden of the Allegheny Courthouse, visit Braddock Farm, a working farm in the city, and learn about the Homewood YMCA’s backyard garden program.
$30 fee includes lunch. Registration deadline is June 19th.

Picture taking for Beginners (Ages 10-14): Bring your own picture taking device (iPod, cell phone, iPad or camera) or borrow one of ours as we learn the basics of picture taking. We will learn the rule of thirds, discuss lighting and backgrounds, learn about different perspectives and close-ups, and we will create a picture slideshow. Even if you’ve been taking pictures for a while, this class will help you improve your picture taking skills.
